Office updates

Office SP1 is not being added to Automatic Update yet. MS are giving orgs chance to test it and manage the deployment. Good, that makes sense.

However…

They have made a ‘update blocker’ available that companies can install to prevent the automatic update getting triggered.

This seems a bit backwards to me. Shouldn’t the update mechanism just be more managable?

    You mean adding a revolutionary feature like suspend for a given number of days or until a particular date? MSFT must be unable to do so due to the same resource constraints that led them to drop VBA from Mac Office.
